Geotechnical / Subsurface Investigation being the basic and first step before commencing any construction activity, MRUDA Geotech offers services for investigation, a complete package including

Field work – Mobilisation, Boring in soil, Drilling in rock, SPT, Collection of soil, rock and water samples.

Laboratory Testing and Analysis of Soil, Rock and Ground Water samples.  Geotechnical Investigation Report with SBC and Foundation recommendation.

Field / In-situ Tests like Plate Load Test.

Foundation Design

Every type of soil has its own Bearing Capacity. Soil can fail in shear and also can undergo excessive settlements if it is loaded with pressure grater than its allowable bearing capacity. In building any superstructure, the foundation soil analysis is a very important and crucial part which shall be addressed with caution.  MRUDA Geotech offers design services for Shallow and deep foundations (Geotechnical and Structural) with the appropriate foundation depth below GL.  

Reinforced Earth (RE) Walls and Slopes

Moving with the advanced methodologies, MRUDA Geotech provides design services using soil reinforcing technique (Design and supporting Drawings with BOQ.) for ramps of bridges, Flyovers, ROBs, VUPs etc. which are now an integral part of highways/expressways and road widening works.

Reinforced Earth walls with block / panel/ gabion fascia have proved their importance and usability for transportation infrastructure. Soil reinforcement with wrap-around used as vertical / sloped supporting/retaining structures.

Field Tests and Reports

Various field tests such as-

 Pile Load Test (Initial Vertical and Lateral),

Plate load test etc

Pressure meter Test

SCPT and CPT

 are required to be performed at site.

Diaphragm Walls (Anchored) & Shoring (Enabling system)

For deep excavations and for a site surrounded by existing structures, various shoring systems such as

Slope Stability Analysis (software output) & Slope Protection Measures

For widening of roads in hilly areas or where the soil/slag dumps are made with higher heights, slope stability becomes very important for an overall safety and stability of the project.

MRUDA Geotech offers – Technical reports on proposal for various slope protection measures, recommending solution after a site visit and in a detailed stage of a project – slope stability analysis using software.

Ground Improvement schemes- proposal and detailing

Some project sites are to be executed on a piece of land whose sub-soil stratum is not capable of bearing the load from the proposed construction. Some of the sites with soft to very soft / marine clay deposits to a deeper depth below GL are to be utilised for the construction activities. In such scenarios, the ground improvement using appropriate method is to be thought of for that particular site and the scheme can be proposed.

MRUDA Geotech is in capacity of providing technical proposals for various Ground Improvement schemes like Granular Piles, PVDs, Soil replacement, Geosynthetics applications etc.

Instrumentation

Instrumentation is an important aspect of any project for during and after-work monitoring and accordingly for record-keeping of the behaviour of the soil / part of the construction to be monitored.
